Research into wellness teleservices
Offering services using technology? People have their doubts. ZuidZorg would like to know why. And more importantly: how they can set up services and technology in order to make them more appealing. After all, it is not just about care.
ZuidZorg looks at the wider picture and explores the technical possibilities. Firstly, they take into account people's wishes and how they currently live their lives. It then soon becomes clear that there are opportunities available. Opportunities we are able to respond to by offering services that are not only useful but that can also be pleasant or can even be deemed a luxury. Users enjoy good experiences.
Key features
• Essence of the project: the Housing Service town of Geldrop-Mierlo would like to familiarise itself further with a new target group of consumers.
• Currently, teleservices are mainly aimed at those who require care and their carers; however, the project would like to introduce wellness teleservices in future too. This is crucial in order to establish a solid business case for the technological concept of teleservices.
• The project offers additional services that may be arranged via video calling. The range of services meets the needs of the residents.
• Strength of this project: the organisers complement each other well with regard to technology, services and research into the needs of people, resulting in a sound implementation plan for the next phase.
• 'Increasing housing service towns’ presents the needs that go beyond medical and nursing care.
