Cooperation with other parties: provincial water plan 
Water management and policy in the Netherlands have changed in recent years. Conflicts can arise as a result of differences in interests, and technical solutions alone are no longer enough. In terms of implementation, it is important for the province to work together with other parties and ensure an alignment with other policy fields. The increasing influence of European policy on regional water policy is also important. The province describes this integral approach in the provincial water plan. With this plan, the province will help turn new insights into a practical approach.
